Last year, we ran our first CATTs Climb challenge during lockdown where a group of our wonderful supporters climbed the equivalent of Mount Kilimanjaro on their own stairs, while some took on the distance by walking or running! They helped us to raise vital funds to support our work in cancer awareness and health empowerment in young people.

The CATTs Climb is all about getting you motivated to take on a crazy challenge, while not having too go far from your own home. So this year, we are doing just that…

This year’s challenge is to climb the equivalent of the UK’s 4 peaks, in 4 weeks:

  • Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland
  • Scaffell Pike, England
  • Mount Snowdon, Wales
  • Ben Nevis, Scotland

Get creative and climb, run or walk through England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, your way!

However you want to take part, we have an option for you!

  1. If you are climbing stairs,  you need to complete 27,500 steps (only steps up the stairs count)
  2. If you are running, you need to run 63km
  3. If you are walking, you will also need to walk 63km

Remember, you have a whole month to complete this challenge!

More information will be given to you when you sign up.

The challenge starts on Thursday 1st April 2021 and runs until Saturday 1st May 2021!

Simply use the sign-up form on this page and one of our team will be in touch with all of the information you need.

You’ll be given a digital pack with the complete low-down of the distance you need to climb, walk or run, depending on how you take on challenge, and how to set up your JustGiving page.

The next step is to get your family and friends to support you!

No worries! We want this climb to be accessible to all.

If you don’t have stairs or can’t climb them, you can run or walk the challenge outside.

If you still need our support to help you adapt the challenge to your needs, please email hello@wearecatts.co.uk and one of our team will get back to you.

Yes! We love team work here at CATTs. If you are doing it in a team, make sure everyone completes a sign-up form. You can set up a group JustGiving page and tag team the distance, or take on a peak each!

Or, go solo. The choice is yours.
